Winning, Bidding, & Giving at the 2024 Trivia Night
Under the elegant chandeliers of the QVB Tea Room, supporters of The Girls & Boys Brigade gathered for an evening of laughter, camaraderie, and charitable giving at the 2024 Trivia Night. The atmosphere was electric as old friends reunited and new connections forged in anticipation of an excellent evening. Despite the grandeur of the venue, it seemed to hardly contain the laughter and fun that was had.
Our fabulous host Jackie Daniels kept the guests entertained from start to finish with a fantastic performance of “You’re the Voice” and a delightful array of activities and entertainment. A delicious 3-course meal kept the energy high as teams deliberated over answers, tested their instincts in a lively game of heads and tails, and showcased their competitive spirits during a table treasure hunt.
Everyone had an opportunity to leave with a prize, with many excellent silent and live auction items available for bidding on, including Taylor Swift’s signed microphone and spectacular trips to Lord Howe Island and Tasmania.
In the end, the event raised a total of $81,000 to support the children, youth, and families who rely on The Girls & Boys Brigade’s vital programs and services. It was truly remarkable to see so many caring individuals come together for a common purpose.
