On the surface, Trivia Night is a chance to reconnect with friends, enjoy a great meal and entertainment, and hopefully take home a prize. But to the families of The Girls & Boys Brigade, events like these mean much more.
The families we help experience a range of complex challenges and disadvantages. In many cases, these challenges have been made worse as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and other global events. The need for our services is greater now than ever.
We have the staff, the space, and the skills to provide these families with practical help and hope in their current situations. However, being a 100% private charity, we are entirely reliant on the support of generous people like you to continue our operations.
That’s why we’re thrilled to share that we raised $84,470 from this year’s event!
Thanks to you, we help more children and youth experiencing disadvantage, empowering them through recreational and educational support. Everyone deserves a chance at a bright future, and together, we can provide it for our beneficiaries!
