Volunteers are integral to the work we do at The Girls & Boys Brigade. We have various opportunities available for individuals, community groups, and corporate partners.
There are opportunities to volunteer with our children and youth during school term and during school holidays. Current volunteering opportunities for individuals are dependent on our programs and demand. There are also opportunities available to volunteer at some of our annual fundraising events.
Please note that all individual volunteers are required to have a current Working with Children Check.

Volunteering is the best commitment I ever made
Lily is busy running her own textile and soft furnishing business, but one of her favourite times of the week is Monday afternoons when she volunteers in the Homework Room. She believes it’s one of the best commitments she has ever made and would encourage anyone else thinking of volunteering to jump right in.
“I love working with the kids and I enjoy watching their development and confidence levels grow,” Lily said.
