Who does The Girls & Boys Brigade help?
The Girls & Boys Brigade is committed to giving a helping hand to children, youth and their families who live with complex educational, financial and social challenges. We work with families living in the City of Sydney local government area.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. The Girls & Boys Brigade has a DGR-1 status, meaning that all donations over $2 are tax deductible. Make sure you keep the receipt for your donation to claim the donation on your tax return. Please refer to the Australian Taxation Office Gifts & Donations Page.

How can I enrol my child (aged 5-12) at The Girls & Boys Brigade?
For children aged 5 – 12 years old, we have access criteria to enrol into our After School Care and Vacation Care Programs. Please get in touch with us through the contact form above and our team will reach out to you with information about the pre-enrolment process.

How can I enrol my young person (aged 12-18) at The Girls & Boys Brigade?
Any young person aged 12 – 18 years old can attend our Youth Program. Simply reach out to us through the contact form above and one of our Youth Officers will be in touch.

I’d like to volunteer with kids. How can I get involved with your programs?
We have volunteer opportunities in our Children’s Homework Program, which runs Monday -Thursdays from 3-6 pm. Volunteering is subject to availability and all our volunteers require a current working with children check. To find out more about volunteering, click here.

We’ve been operating in the City of Sydney since 1882. If you remember attending The Boys Brigade on Riley St, Surry Hills, we’d love to hear from you.
